Dr. Beth here!

I have been an orthopedic physical therapist for 12 years and have been specializing in women's health and postpartum recovery for 6 years. I found my love for helping postpartum mom's when I found myself struggling after having my 2 boys.

I had exercised through my entire first pregnancy and felt pretty good following so at about 6-8 weeks pp, I jumped back into my regular exercise routine. Everything was going fine...until it wasn't. I started running again at about 8 weeks pp with no specific core or pelvic floor preparatory or strengthening exercises. I just picked up where I left off. Fast forward a few months and I started experiencing pelvic heaviness that I knew just wasn't right.

I was diagnosed with prolapse and I was devastated. Even with my education as a physical therapist, I did not feel adequately prepared to fully treat this condition on my own. I saw a pelvic floor PT and started my training to become a pelvic floor PT as well. I became double certified in abdominopelvic PT and postpartum corrective exercise specialist and have now gained 6 years of experience making sure no other mom feels the weight of postpartum impairments without help and support!

I am happy to say I put everything to I learned to work on myself and was able to get back to all the exercises my little heart desires (which is a lot because I life off endorphins!!!) symptom free!!

It has been such a gift to have helped hundreds of moms feel like themselves again in their postpartum bodies!
